GeoGuessr Pro ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Screenshots

When you use the "Analyze" feature, we capture a screenshot of your current browser tab. This screenshot is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) for analysis and is immediately discarded after processing. We do not store any screenshots.

Usage Data

We track anonymous usage statistics (number of analyses) to enforce daily limits. This data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

Payment Information

If you purchase a Pro subscription:

  • Via ExtensionPay/Stripe: Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see your full card details.
  • Via Crypto: We store your email and license key only.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide location analysis services
  • To manage your subscription and license
  • To respond to support requests

Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Screenshots for analysis (not stored)
  • Stripe/ExtensionPay: Payment processing

We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Retention

  • Screenshots: Not retained (processed and discarded)
  • License data: Retained while subscription is active
  • Support emails: Retained for customer service purposes

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your license information
  • Opt out of any marketing communications

Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. License keys are stored securely in our database. We do not store passwords (ExtensionPay handles authentication).

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
